An extremely trusted source has leaked to us that the upcoming Alan Wake: Night Springs will be an Xbox Live Arcade title and not a retail release. We have seen screen caps, but have been asked not to disclose them at this time. We have emailed Microsoft asking for a comment and will update as the situation develops.

We would like to point out that we announced the Gotham City Imposters XBLA game months ago, which wasrecently confirmed. We cannot confirm details about Alan Wake: Night Springs yet, but we expect an official announcement to come soon.

I'm with you on that. I really don't want to see this go down that route. I think with how good the first one was that they should push it out one more time. I think people liked it and wanted to see another come. Most people just didn't get around to playing it for sometime but one most did I think they where impressed.

I'll buy it if true. Though I was hoping for a retail disc based Alan Wake 2 or full budgeted spin off on disc.

Tbh it doesnt sound that promising, as it confirmed not to be a sequel or DLC. Judging by the name it based a around the night springs group that the bright falls sheriff is a member of.

I wonder how long will this will be....either way day one, loved Alan Wake so much
