Forums - Gaming - Another L.A. Noire Review Goes Live, This Time From GameInformer AU

Gamesthirst

L.A. Noire’s not out until next Tuesday in the U.S., but already reviews are starting to trickle in. The latest is from Australia’s GameInformer magazine, and apart from delivering one of the best one-liners ever, the publication gave Team Bondi’s latest game a near-perfect score.

The reason for the .5 deduction was because, according to the mag, the action sequences are a bit underwhelming and too simplistic compared to the depth and attention to detail the rest of the game boasts.

9.5/10

“You will pay for the whole seat, but you will only be using the edge of it!” claimed the magazine. A statement that will surely send potential buyers rushing to various stores ready to pick up Rockstar’s latest title.

Will this be another 9.5-plus  rated Rockstar game? (yes, I know Rockstar is not developing L.A. Noire but they're publishing it)

Rockstar is co-developing with Team Bondi.

So I still consider it a Rockstar game.

Plus 93 on meta it seems.

Let's see how many flaws are being overlooked this time , I hope none but I just can't convince myself that .

IGN will give it a 10/10 just watch.. they always give Rockstar Games high scores.

I trust no one, not even myself.

The question is, will it deserve these scores?

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

This game is being put on my radar pretty fast!

Hold your horses people. I am hyped for this game as well, but GTA IV is rated extremely high on metacritic and many of us think it doesn't deserve that much, myself included.

For some reason, reviewers have a tendency to rate Rockstar games too high, so calm down.

wow R* kicking ass this gen with AAA after AAA titles GTA4, RDR, and now LN

might check it out not really into that era would of preferred about 20 yrs after that period, achievement list looks pretty easy w/o R* brutal online ones
