Sorry but until today I never saw a BF better CoD.

So MW3 will kick ass easy... like every one done.

Better idea is make 10 point to BF3 destone MW3 because that is the reality.

name one .....just ONE COD that is in any ....ANY!!! way similar to Battlefield???????

you like COD because it's NOT battlefield......not becasue it's better facepalm

I think CoD franchise better than BF franchise... BF is so unrealistic.

For me any CoD kick ass any Battlefield.

The Battlefield series has to grow a lot to reach what Call of Duty deliver.

lolz @ people still comparing these games,

when COD gets HUGH maps, Massive vehicular warfare, a class system, and dedicated servers it would be about 10% comparable to any battlefield let alone BF3. That's got to be the worst thing this gen, COD players thinking they're getting a better, no no Compareable experience than Battlefield having no freaking clue as to what a battlefield game even is and no neither of the bad company spin offs count.

quit your act.  CoD is what it is because it doesn't have huge maps and vehicular warfare

you say: that

and then I say: DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH

did you even read my post??? nothing aout COD is compareale to Battlefield in any way at all so this whole thread is bogus. top 10 ways COD can keep up battlefield as if it was EVER on the same level EVER!!! in any point in time, that's something this retarded ass indusrty need to figure the hell out you and me are clearly on the same page

it's like comepareing Gran Turismo to fucking Mario Kart, (which oddly enough I've seen on this forum much to my MASSIVE facepalm)

Well I guess you didn't read my thread, because this thrad was about the top 12 ways that MW3 can improve on previous CoD games.  I only mentioned BF3 to show that CoD needs to keep evolving to keep up with the competition.  But I agree with you that CoD and BF3 probably aren't even direct competitors-- totally different kinds of games.  CoD has a much broader appeal, BF3 has more appeal to many hardcore gamers (especially PC gamers).  CoD just needs to make sure they are innovating so people don't tire of their games and go elsewhere with their money.

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Every single COD since the COD4 have launched with worse bugs and gameplay compared to the previous game, and EVERY single game has had a bigger opening than it's predecessor (sept maybe W@W)

CoD doesn't need to do shit, it's fanbase aint going anywhere.

I hate the earned emblems because it only lead to boosting which is way down in Black Ops making it much more superior in my eyes than mw2. Nuke boosting was out of control and camping partly due to people trying to get emblems.

I also think vehicles were the worst part about World at war so I would throw that out too.

Your other ideas are okay, but I don't have many complaints about Black Ops it is great I love the funny ass emblems dirty or just cool.

I wouldn't worry though they change up something a little for every game, but I think there is not much to improve on.

Edit: Cod will rock battlefield in sale all the whiners can just keep on whining.

I imagine they won't be able to do custom emblems anymore.  The 360 userbase showed that they are not mature enough to handle them properly.  I was very disappointed in all the racist emblems especially-- I doubt Activision will go down the road of custom emblems again.

Emblem boosters can largely be taken care of if they eliminate the tactical insertion perk in free-for-all like they did in Black Ops.

The tactical insertion was my main problem as I play 90% plus in free for all modes.

Yeah I don't stand for racism or any other bigotry, but I wont deny I laughed when I first saw the sexual emblems. I agree upon the fact that they might be taken out though just because it is harder to police offensive emblems compared to offensive user names.

Oh and by the way I am playing on 360 so I know all about it, I'm sure it is similar for PS3.

Dedicated servers would be #1. I think most of my qualms about COD's online MP would be solved with those. Second I would remove the uber powerful knife. Make knife kills more like melee in other FPS's. 2 knife's from the front, 1 knife in the back. I hate people running through my bullets to knife kill me. Remove insta-kill throwing weapons, that bounce around rooms like rubber balls. If your gonna put a throwing weapon in the game, give multiples and make them 2 hit kills (unless in the back or head). Put bullet drop and/or at least implement a better bullet-distance plus bullet-type = bullet damage system. Nobody should be getting kills with a hand gun across the map. And a submachine gun shouldn't take me out faster than an assault rifle from a long distance just because it has a grip to it to steady it. No quick scope. Fix the horrible spawning. Create a safe-zone for spawning,or something. Give me the option to be put into matches that have already started or not. I hate being put into a game only to die 5 times in a row because the other team has dogs, a blackbird, and a chopper gunner. Last but not least...... a vastly upgraded game engine. Portal 2 shows what you can do with an aged engine.

The racism and sexual emblems were definitely there on the PS3. There wasn't very much racism, but there were a bunch of penis' and asses and "sex". I got plent of laughs out of them. I saw 2 racist ones that were funny 2 me(I'm not racist). Long story short, I saw 1 racist emblem. Then I saw a response racist emblem a couple days later, so I knew the person had seen the same racist emblem I saw. That's what caused my laughter. Some people spend way too much time on their emblems.

10. Add an x-ray vision perk that lets the player see through walls-- This would be a pretty nice tool when looking for campers

Awful, awful idea. This will:

1) Encourage camping, since one can see the enemy and will just hide in a corner every time they see someone coming.

2) Give such a huge advantage, it'll force everyone to use the perk. It'll then result in a WWI type stalemate, where everyone is afraid to go out in the open first.

Uncharted 2's Situational Awarness is a prime example of how your idea can go terribly wrong.

A really temporary version of your perk might work (sort of like Killzone 3's radar ability for Tacticians).

If anything, BF3 will need to keep up with MW3 this year. I really despise the Modern Warfare brand, the first game was great the second was a sore disapointment, if third is anything like the second it will

a) Still sell bucketloads

b) Will be as casual as they come.

I like battlefield series and find them more teamwork orientated and just in general more about "fun" I guess, but in all seriousness, if EA really expects to beat MW3 in terms of sales they are seriously dilluded.

Gameplay wise BF3 will hopefully crap on MW3, unless they do pull some tricks out of their asses and actually improve the game drastically, but I really am not liking the hype train that EA are trying to start, when there is a hype train, there is bound to be disappointment.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
