I'm a full blood American. Born and raised by an African American/Native mother and a Caucasian father. Why is it in America mixed or biracial children can't have a category but have to be classified as African American? I know about that stupid "One Drop Rule" but does that exist in other countries around the world? Thanks!

It probably depends on who is asking. These days I do see more things that ask offering more options including mixed, multi, or biracial options.
