I won't quote anyone but all Ima say is F**k Dead Space.
Disposable action game like that should not be an influence for any horror game.

The best Survival-Shooter is Resident Evil 4. Dead Space and RE5 are only dwarfs against Re4.
I hope Re6 will have a got suspense story, action, great graphics and Wiimote like controls (Project Cafe!)
as much as i am a huge RE fan i actually wish thay'd just leave the franchise alone(although i do no this will never happen)
the reason id like this to happen is simply becuase resi 4 felt like that was as good as the series is going to get, even resi 5 just felt like a game that was really trying to be resi 4 and failing
and now it just seems like capcom is just going to chuck the whole franchises legacy around like operation: racoon city which to me just seems like a pretty cheap cash in thats not really anything that makes resi good and instead is just what is curently popular in gaming
End of 2012 prediction:
xbox 360 : 73-75 million
playstation 3 : 72-74 million
wii : 104-105 million
Most hyped for :
Bioshock: infinte, The Last Of Us, Alan Wake's American Nightmare and Agent
That's one worrying statement, but coming back to the game, I don't see why the choice would be hard, make it go back to survival-horror roots obviously. If they can make it work with co-op, since I loved it in RE5, I would greatly appreciate it, but it's not necessary.
But I don't see how dead space was that much of a survival-horror game. The survival was there quite a bit, I agree, but the horror elements were there for really only the 1st chapter or so, the rest was action, mostly really bloody, with a few "pop out of nowhere!" moments. Still fun game.
I like RE5's Co-Op
