From what I heard, based on the head shot and chest shot, he was killed execution style meaning someone took the dead part of dead or alive very seriously. Apparently he was not armed at all during the raid.

There was an issue before where SEALS faced black jackets after a POW called for assault during his kidnapping. Ever since then I thought to myself there are going to be less brought back alive now.

It's a fake photo,as they haven't released anything to the public and I don't think they ever will,as Obama does'nt want to stir up the muslim community and I have to agree on that. 

It looks more believeable than the other fake pic but I've seen headshots in person before.  His head should be swollen to where he looks almost unrecognizeable.  Plus, from the descriptions given, his brain should be partially exposed.

I can't see the proof that it;s fake on my phone--and it may very well be the real deal (I have quite a few friends that have been overrseas and saved photos of horrific scenes on their computers) but I hope the members of seal team 6 have more integrity than that.  I still think this is a fake, though.

I personally don't need a photo.  Everyone from our government to Pakistan's government to Al Qaeda are saying he's dead.  That's good enough for me.

The official word i've heard was that, unless he surrendered AND he was naked, they were to assume he was wearing a suicide vest and deadly force was authorized.  Sounds convenient but it's a very real and plausible threat.

Do people really wanna see the picture of a corpse?

Obama said no photos to be released. Not anytime soon. He doesn't want to provoke violence... which doesn't make sense, giving that throwing him in the ocean is a lot more enraging.

Honestly if you were one of those seals and had Bin Laden infront of you with orders to take him dead or alive. Would you really take him alive? Its not very Christian of me but I'd have a very hard time taking the SOB alive. I'm not even sure Obama could control the SEAL's if they really wanted him dead his orders would be meaningless.

I would have been extremely suprised if they had taken him alive. Its not like Saddam who killed his own people, Osama killed American's and thousands of them. The SEAL's would be taking this alittle personal. Its like if you had armed an Iraqi Shiite army officer and then asked him to take Saddam dead or alive. I doubt that soldier would be taking him alive.

In the end Osama would have been sentenced to death anyways, he deserved a fair trial but we all knew the out come. These soldiers knew he was going to die whether they shot him or not. It would have been a very very difficult thing to do to take him alive!
