again, not trying to be a troll. i will try to tread carefully.

Rare: have they done anything this gen? i can only think of an xbla game

again, not trying to troll. people will always think those type of things, when someone like me raises questions, but honestly i just want to know more about microsofts devs

If you aren't trolling you don't need to say it so many times... it just makes people think you are trolling >_>

Rare has developed the following things this gen: Kameo, PDZ, BK:N&B, VP, VP:TiP, Jetpac Refueled(XBL), Kinect Sports, Diddy Kong Racing(DS), and VP:PP(DS)

They have also helped with the development of: Halo 3, NXE, Banjo kazooie(XBL), Banjo-Tooie(XBL), and Perfect Dark(XBL)

I really can't think of a single developer that has done more than they have this gen. o.o

well i have to make sure im covering myself. because people get very defensive if anything negative/ not positive is said, especially from a non xbox owner

Glad to see MS getting back first party support, especially more Kinect exclusives.

Now I'm not particually excited as much as seeing Kinect exclusives vs actually using a controler, but I think I can get use to it in the long run.

It's just that simple.

As a British Columbian I am extremely excited. Go Vancouver. I hope this new studio produces some new Microsoft IP, actually I wouldn't mind seeing them take on some of Rare's IP's a new Banjo would be amazing.

I think that a strong list of first parties so far i think when you add them alll up

, 343 industries, turn 10, lionhead, rare, Good Science Studio, firebird studio, London Soho Studio , wingnut interactive, Bigpark, Zipline studios  = 10

and that not inclding their xbox live arcade division or mobile gaming divison

again, not trying to be a troll. i will try to tread carefully.

but i dont know of most of those studios and what they have done to prove themselves. so i have several questions about them that i dont know the answers to.

343: have they made any games? are they proven? i know they are halo team, but do they have expierence

turn 10: is a proven studio, makes forza

lionhead: proven, makes fable

Rare: have they done anything this gen? i can only think of an xbla game

Good Science: who are they, never heard of them, what games have they made?

Firebird: i think ive heard of them, but what games have they made, are they proven to be good?

london, wingnut, bigpark, zipline: again ive never heard of any of them. what games do they make, how many, what have they done this gen. are they talented.

again, not trying to troll. people will always think those type of things, when someone like me raises questions, but honestly i just want to know more about microsofts devs

343 - leads are mainly ex Bungie people that wanted to stay with Halo but no they haven't made anything else as 343.

Good Science - have made Kinect Adventures and that's all

Firebird/Wingnut - see my earlier post

Soho/London - new wrking on Kinect

Bigpark - Kinect Joy Ride

Zipline - are the new studio this thread is about working on Kinect

MS basically have created 4 new studios and converted Rare to make Kinect games.

thats unfortunate for someone like me, as i have no interest in Kinect.

but for those of you who do like Kinect, good luck, i hope these devs bring you good games

Really, C'mon on. WTF MS. THey need to get off the kinect train. Bring us some hardcore games already. WTF.

I don't mind some kinect games but thats just it some, some hardcore and get rare working on CONKER ALREADY.

Well I hope the Vancouver studio is put hard at work on some of Microsoft's core franchises. Nintendo is realizing they need more second/third party developers working on liscensed Nintendo products and Microsoft is realizing they need more internal studios to work on their products.

Its a win win for Nintendo fans, MS fans and Vancouverites!
