30 Days of Playstation Plus is just... silly.

Hopefully the software offered is pretty decent.

Why is it silly? It gets people on board to see what that service is like (including giving away free games/themes/DLC/early beta access and free Qore episodes). I don't see anything wrong with that, especially given that they didn't even have to offer that.

They are trying to turn a bad PR stunt into a marketing gimic... and not even a good one.

Also, yeah... yeah they did have to offer that.  They lost a ton of peoples information... and a lot of people are mad.  Don't be surprised if they end up having to offer more, and eventually offer credit monitering services.

It's basic standard operating procedure.  To not would cost you pretty big.

It would basically make most people feel like you don't care at all.

Conference is over, the last question was about Anon and they pretty much said that they don't have elements to conect Anon with this.

Hey guy I got on kind of late did they give any day of return of PSN?

Agree to disagree, things could have been much worse and no.....no they didn't have to offer anything.

They did if they wanted to appear like they care for their customers.  It's basic operating procedure.  To not, would of actually hurt them pretty badly.

Also how could things of been much worse?  The information lost was more dangerous then any credit card numbers.

I just wonder if the new password change measure means all PS3 accounts have been "deactivated", so users like me who had lost 2 out of 5 activations on YLOD'ed PS3s will get them back. I truly hope so. People who have their account activated across several PS3s will know what I mean.

So, no mention of expected dates for service returning per market?

I really don't like the PSN offer. You all know that games will stop working after the one month ends. This is how it works for all PSN games, you must have an active subscription to continue playing the game.

So, what we will get is :

- Free gaming on some games for 30 days.

- Free themes and avatars (doesnt expire like games)

Giving a free game is a better option to me as I can play it any time and wont be restricted by the 30 days thing.
