Your likely right, i'm not an expert on Naruto, just know it's ship something. I mostly just like the side characters. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Ino get on my nerves. Everyone else is great though.

Eh, the gameplay shown pretty much shows that it's not Naruto Shippodan. If they expect to release this in the US. That practically gurantees it's not Naruto Shippodan. I don't get what else is obsolete though? It's not like Naruto games have had the most stellar sales even when it was at the height of it's popularity. To my knoweledge no Nartuo game has even sold 500K.
 Naruto Shippodan is scheduled to be shown in the US soon actually. The CC actually pans on skipping like half the fillers. Just give dubbers enough time to start dubbing Naruto Shippodan.

So. In early game development they are going to make younger characters just so they can remake the characters 3 years older later on in development? I've never heard of people doing this before. Also, if it's early speculation, what does that have to say about your comment about how it'll do really well in Japan? Also seems a bit "obsolete"... well not even obsolete, considering Naruto games on the PS2 didn't even sell that well.

To Naruto games not selling that well in Japan? We have a games Database on this site. If you use it you'll see no Naruto game has ever reached 500K. http://vgchartz.com/games/index.php?name=naruto&console=&publisher=&genre=&keyword=&order=Sales

 An average of 200k-300k a game is bad?

Who said the game was going to be released now? The U.S. episodes will catch up to whatever the Naruto PS3 will provide.


The US is currently on Season 6. That leaves 3 more seasons. There are like... 220 episodes of Naruto. The US is currently on... like 130. At 1 or 2 new episodes a week... that's going to take a long time.

Really? Well that's actually great news than. Those filler episodes suck. I tried watching through them when I was more interested in the show... but man those wear on you.

First we know nothing about the game. We don't even know how the story mode is going to be. We don't even know what seasons will be in the game. All is speculation now.

Edit: It is possible to put alot of episodes in the game because of the Blu-ray disk.

It's not "Japan going crazy over them" that's for sure. Much less popular than the Gundam franchise for example.

for what the people glorify so much to ps3.. its another naruto game.. nothin else... and you have to face the truth.. rise of a ninja is the best naruto game.. stops hating 360 only because it has better games that ps3.. plays what you have without subestimating the titles of other consoles.. im not a fanboy, i hate the form in which the people think that sony ps3 is the maximum thing.. where are the supervisulas that they promised? or the 4d graphics experience??..

I know because Gundam is a well establish franchise in Japan. You see how Dynasty Warriors: Gundam did in Japan.

I see this game doing 300k in Japan, just like its predeccesors from the PS2.
