Hmm, so a 21 year old takes on a huge corporation for rights that apply to all of us, he holds Sony to basically a stalemate, and then donates any left over money to a good cause, and still the little pissants on here think they are better than him.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but none of you would have the balls to take on a corporation even if you know they are wrong.  You'd just crawl into a corner and wet yourselves.

Geohot didn't take on Sony.  Sony sued Geohot.  Geohot gave into Sony's demands so Geohot had legal funds left over.  It's that simple.  What comic book were you reading?

Sometimes I feel like I'm in the twilight zone with the responses and reactions I have seen to this whole Geohot case. Makes me wonder what people would say if it had been ANY other company. I bet a lot of people would change their tune in a heartbeat.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in the twilight zone with the responses and reactions I have seen to this whole Geohot case. Makes me wonder what people would say if it had been ANY other company. I bet a lot of people would change their tune in a heartbeat.


It's a really interesting case, since I frequent several other sites that feature this whole story, and many show a tremendous amount more support for GeoHotz than here. They are mainly political and technology sites.
