I would add that Sonic 4 and even Sonic racing didnt fit into the cycle. I hate when people say they have been no good Sonic games, thats just a lie. THe advance ones are great as are the Rush ones. If one said no good "console" ones you might have an argument.
@ninpanda if you feel like spending 20 bucks Amazon has Sonic gems collection, its expensive for an old GC game but i think its worth it.

I already have it, thanks. 
I meant that I feel like playing it again, which, in fact, is what I'm doing right now.
