Forums - Gaming - Small texts in most games.

I don't know why the developpers keep making the texts smaller and smaller.  I mean, it's not like it was something people were complaining about before.  I have an HDTV and an "ordinary" one.  I play a lot of rpg's and I just love reading everything I find.  I bought Two Worlds 2 and traded it after a while.  One of the reasons was the almost unreadable texts.  Same thing with Mass Effect 1 and 2.  Now, I search the forums or try out a demo before buying.  Divinity II looks good and the text is an easy read, so everything is good.  But I had trouble with the Dragon Age 2 demo.

And now back to watching Montreal against Boston.  Go Canadians!

I know what you mean it pisses me off..

i like games like disgaea that offer different text options. if i think the text is too small i switch over to a larger one :)

i had to play ff13 on a sdtv when it came out and couldnt read much of anything lol, i ended up replaying it when i got home so i could read the text :P haha

Mass Effect 2 text was virtually unreadable for SD users. I struggled at some points in HD to read it.

The Total War series on PC has fuzzy/small text issues also.

Mortal Kombat 2011 & Street Fighter 4 AE

We're too busy counting pixels to notice the text.

Yeah, a bigger HDMI cable will make the text bigger :)

I always have subtitles on and don't experience problems.  Only times I've heard about problems was for people with SD TVs.

The only time i had that problem was with the first dead rising I missed all the phone call because I couldnt read it, but after getting a HD TV all is well but i never did finish that game
