Shouldn't it be the IHL?? Or do I just not know the definition of "national"?

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

Well it's really only Canada and America but I get your point. What really confuses me is the NFL... The conferences are the AFC and the NFC... both kinda mean the same thing, no?

You bring a valid point. Canada's not really another country as much as it is the US's hat...

Well, the AFC and NFC use to be seperate entities before the buyout of the AFC!

I'm happy with my team's performance so far. More wins at home in the playoffs so far, than the entire series vs Chicago last year.  Here's hoping they at least split in the windy city.

I think the Canucks will take the series 4-1... and 4-2 at the worst. Last night's game got too close for comfort.

I think they were focusing too much on the big 4 (Sharp/Toews/Kane/Hossa) and sort of let up on the gas when the bottom 6 came on. Was it good? No, but playing a full 60 against every player they way they've been handling the big boys, probably isn't sustainable. Hopefully, it does provide a wake up call for them though.

As an aside, who is your team?

Detroit up 3-0 after first period. Wooooo! Eat it Baalzamon!

Here's hoping the best for Franzen. :S

BOOOOOO!!!!!

Montreal seems to be repeating their stifling team defense from last year. I underestimated them then, and I did it again this year. In the series, I don't really care who wins, since I do like both teams, but I hope it does go 7. Can't wait to see the Bell Centre for game 3...it should be electric.

One more win...

I'm disappointed with Phoenix...I thought they'd be better vs Detroit, especially with Zetterberg out and they way they played them last year (minus game 7). Maybe they'll do a better job next year...in Winnipeg.

Yuck, spanked. Nothing else to say but get it out of your head and await the next game at home.
