Anyways I'm glad Res 3 is on the way. I preferred it much more than the Killzone series. 

No need to comment bro. I'm praising Resistance. 

For me Res series is a quality awesome fun FPS. Found KZ series lacklustre and boring. But Res series is the FPS series I would buy a PS3 for. 

Looking forward to playing the 3rd installment.

Bioshock's water was also impressive!

Aliens everywhere. What is the puny human to do? They could (and maybe will) still work on these sequences. Why is the world shaking when the water should isolate? And they should make those ice formations fall more naturally. I hope these will be my main concerns for the full game, cause these don't really matter. It will be good. I hope it's long too.

Incredible footage with incredible atmosphere. Too bad the sound design is miles below the visual design. Footage looks more like a movie (like Cloverfield) than gameplay though.

Looks really great and I'm hoping for a collectors edition.

Loved everything except the voice acting! Once again it seems we have a lifeless main character. But worst of all was Malikov. His acting is terrible. It looks and seems like they're about to be brutally killed by the Goliath and his reaction to the situation was so poor. No emotion or expression of fear whatsoever. Pulled me out of the experience and reduced the intensity. Maybe it's just me, though.

As I said, I loved everything else about it. One of my most anticipated games of the year, which is why I guess I'm so critical of it. Breathing life into the characters of the story was something Insomniac really failed to do in R1 and 2, especially with Hale, who literally had no personality and barely ever spoke. I really hope they create a main as well as  supporting characters with more emotion and personality this time around.

R3 is the only FPS i'll buy in 2011

Im interested to see how daring insomniac is with the new directions the franchise seems to be taking. They have to be bold with R3, there needs to be blood and gore and scary monsters and loud shrieking screams and really sad and dramatic moments that capture the player.

This boat scene is alright but I need more, something similar to the likes of Metro 2033 or Bioshock or Condemed as far as atmosphere is concerned. Something that just reaks of atmosphere, oozes and drips emotion..  and this looks like a good start.
