Forums - Gaming - The Video Game Industry doesn't have to suck up to the movie industry

Really the past 40 years in Gaming, have gaming ever needed the presence of the movie industry to help it in any ways?

No, and there is no need now for Games Industry to suck up to the Movie Industry begging for there recognition  as an medium of entertainment or as an art form because they dont have to because Games will become recognized once they are deserved to be by the general public not by an community of people that rather see the games industry crumble then expand rapidy like it is out growing that of its own.

Overall if we remain our own thing and not suck up to other more mainstream then games and get better then they will be the ones coming like Music industry were you have big orchestras working now for the games industry with many composers seeing it an great output of there medium.

Ps. There is also no reason for games to be more like movies and on the subject of movie game: that is SONY(Columbia pictures) trying to juice out ideas from its networking deparement as well as other studios doing it from other publishers

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Around the Network

It should be the other way around. The movie industry has to get new ideas from somewere.

The Industry doesn´t have to, but it sure seems like they want to.
