Have you ever seen an internet acronym and though it meant something else? Or am I the only stupid one.

For awhile, thought QFT meant "Quite friggn' true" I was close, but.....

OP means original poster. TS I'd suppose it'd mean thread starter, but I've never seen it used. But OP refers to the creator of a thread




I used to think FTW stood for "Fu** the what" - - - - As in wtf said by someone trying to be funny



There's the hilarious misinterpretation of 'laugh out loud' for 'lots of love' leading to the famous tale of the mum who texted their child

"Your grandmother has just passed away. LOL."

I often thought with IIRC some people meant the chat-system, just with spelling mistake. I always wondered why so many people make the same mistake until I realised they meant " If I remember correctly".
