From what I've played it feels more like GoW1 to me but let me play some more and I'll give you a more definitive answer.

In terms of graphics all I can say is I went back and played GoW2 again today and the beta alone blows that game away in the graphics department.

So here are the pics I promised. Sorry their not very good, I took them using my phone. It's hard to play and take pics at the same time. I've been playing some more and noticed the shotgun is far more consistent in GoW3 than it was in 2

Awesome, can't wait to play. The only thing I bought my 360 slim for (was) Reach and Gears 3; Reach was a disappointment, hopefully Gears 3 will make my 2nd 360 purchase worthwhile!

Looking Very nice!  And those are just pics from the Beta version of the game taken with a phone!  The final game is going to be gorgeous.  My Epic Edition of Bulletstorm is begging to be put in so I can start playing haha

Its really good so far but keep in mind theres only like 30 people in the world playing the game. I had my first host migration today. It went pretty smooth but it started everyone back at their initial spawns. I don't know if thats a bug or intentional, the score didn't change though.

I've been playing with the same people over and over again so I know how good people are based off their gamer tags. There's this one Epic employee that keeps demolishing me with the sawed off shotgun, the next time I down him I'm going to keep pounding him in the face with my execution until someone on his team kills me -_-

Wow, this dude really has connections at Epic Games.

1) How many people are in the Beta right now? Can you easily find a game? How many games do they have on the server? Can you create your own private game?

2) Ask your cousin if there really is a Gears Kinect, if so, what the hell is it? I think it's an on rail shooter.

3) Ask your cousin what is Gears of Wars: Exhile, if so what is it? I have a feeling it's a WP7 game with XBL achievements.
