It doesn't? Now, you're new, so I'm thinking there are several things.

Coupled with the fact that everyone has reacted to flips and info in a way that makes it seem like the majority of players are name= alignment, I find it hard to believe that this is true. My name = alignment, and I think it is the same with others.

Also, this is the first time name and alignment has been mentioned in an unsynchronized form. So for you to just come out and say this definitively doesn't make any sense. I'd like to know more, and would ask for your name, but I'd like to hear what other people think of name and alignment.

Well, you know my name and alignment - they fit. I reckon this is going to be the case for all of us.

My Star Wars knowledge is null, I am probably one of the only people that grew up without watching the episodes back to back, having never seen one I had to google to know who on earth my character was, I was surprised with it and the role that I have received, considering it didn't really make sense unless of course it meant something else entirely. I thought I heard someone mention the alignment? Either that or I am tripping balls and confused the references with the last round.

Ah, but then what is the Apprentice? 

The way I see it, if there's a Sith Lord, there's his Apprentice.  The Apprentice would obviously have to be a mafia goon, so it makes sense for the Lord to be the Godfather.  Or am I messing up Star Wars arcana somehow? 

Though if everyone has the ability to appear as as innocent(really the only reason to include a godfather) then there really isn't any point in a cop... That's just my take on the matter...

And I agree with you. I took the "starting" to mean that he could be replaced. Which is basically what Sith lords are in the series... replaceable 

I hadn't thought of it that way because even if he's the Emperor's apprentice, Darth Vader is called a Dark Lord of the Sith but your interpretation makes sense too.

I guess the only thing we need to get out of this is that there's a possibility of scum scanning innocent, so we should still keep an eye on confirmed townies (by cop investigation).

Hatmoza has already implied that he could have been responsible for this turn of events. Also, what makes you so sure about prof? I am naturally distrsutful of anyone who claims to be able to vouch for another player. Doubly so with the mafia godfather theory fitting so well from the perspective of lore and what limited info we have on game mechanics thus far.

I would think it might be more likly that he was the head of a cult. Unless you guys pay where godfather can be passed on like a cult leader status.

Might be why we have 1.5 vig and 1.5 cops at least
