EBWODP: That last part should read "if you were forced to kill last night"

No, I am not forced to kill. I killed night one after looking at my role on the mafia wiki and it said a suggested strategy that I:

"should kill night 0 because statistically it should be to the town's advantage"

Are you a vigilante? And fyi, last night was night 1, not night 0. Night 0 is a night that starts a game. Radish is familiar with such games, or at least, he's familiar with night 0.

I took night zero as the first night, so I did it anyways. But yes I am, that's why I was trying to not mention what players I thought were town or why I chose linkz until I had to. The "trust list" got Hatmoza killed last round, and I didn't want a repeat of it on me by mentioning who I thought were town. Now it's too late, but I'm glad I killed at least one mafia on a whim. I do have another power, but I hope I can keep that out of sight for the town's benefit. It's a pretty bland one, and you could probably guess it.

what's your name.

And I'm guessing vanilla townie is your other role?

Yup, sit and do nothing or kill. I'm Boba Fett, a bounty hunter. I guess Heph reads the books where Boba Fett fought against Darth Vader

Okay now I can get into my thoughts about your choice.

I agree about not killing hatmoza, radish and zexen. I agree about Gnizmo and Vetteman being helpful when they post.

dsister and NotStan being Mafia last game has absolutely no bearing on this game so I don't agree about that.

Now you said, "so the best course of action rather than completely knock out a townie would be to go for a lurker who would not be missed the the discussion."

First of all, I never got the impression Linkzmax was lurking but since my recollection could have been wrong, I went back and checked the post count for everyone at the end of Day One, here it is:

People on the hot seat

Baalzamon => 73
 radishhead => 68

High activity:
   Wonktonodi => 55
   theprof00 => 42
    Final-Fan => 40
    hatmoza => 34

Average activity:

dsister => 22
Linkzmax => 21
Vetteman94 => 19
TruckOSaurus => 18

Low activity:

NotStan => 13
A Bad Clown => 11
MetalGear_94 => 7
Gnizmo => 7
zexen_lowe => 5

You'll have to agree Linkz fell far from the lurker status (in pure post number, I haven't checked content yet)

Also the "who would not be missed [in] the discussion." part bothers me because Linkz has a reputation of bringing a lot to the discussion.

You should remember last time Linkz played he did not get lynched to the bitter end, because no one had suspected him. If he's lurking on purpose and no one feels the need to lynch him, and if he would have just bandwagoned what good would he have been for the town?

I think it's pretty believable that we have two half-vigilantes.  After all, it adds up to one vigilante, and that's not that odd.

@ zexen:  I agree it sounds weird, but I've heard these numbers bandied about before, so you can trust that he's not just making crap up, whatever the actual truth happens to be.

@ TOS:  I'm surprised no one called you on this already.  You expressed surprise that Darth Sidious was the Sith Lord, because you would have expected it to be Emperor Palpatine.  In fact, they are one and the same

it's not two half vigilantes. It's one half vigilante, and one full vigilante.

If Linkz was a lurker, what does that make you? Your contribution to Day One is about half of his.

Signature goes here!

ABC, are you only allowed to kill on odd nights?

Cause that would make sense since radish is only allowed to kill on even nights.

But what doesn't make sense is that one is forced to kill while the other is not.

Why would Heph do that?

@Metalgear
The second you announce someone is investigated their alignment is known to everyone. The mafia don't have to guess who is on their side. It is up to the town to figure out who is really on our side. If he investigated Wonk then he would either follow it with a lynch, or confirm the person investigated is one of the good guys. Stating Wonk is innocent is redundant.

The starting sith lord bit has me in an interesting thought process though. By lore the apprentice replaces the master upon the death of the former. The apprentice is very often involved in speeding this process up. So what if there was an incentive to try and do so? I dunno what though. My guess is a chance to recruit someone new for the apprentice. Supposing this can only happen once it would not only give three people but also reconcile game balance with source lore. This all depends on how strictly Heph wanted to follow the lore though.

@Final-Fan Does Trucks even know much about Star Wars? Someone who only saw 1-3 might be confused with the paplatine thing
