Ah I was looking at this post

Heph's setup confused me a bit, but I see now it's because it's just an interesting way of saying things. Like, I thought gorky was an SK and we "gork:" people to sate the wild beast named gorky so he doesn't kill randomly at night. Now I see that was a little dumb.

Despite the confusion, you don't feel the need to ungork?

Balz is excited by TOS' new find

I read that last part as: If we go for a No Lynch (or I should say No Gorky). He's still going to kill one of us at night?

What do you guys think?

That's a really good catch.  So dare we risk a no lynch if Gorky kills a (at least what we believe to be) random person?

Balz dismisses Prof's theory about gork being whatever, be he forgets his own words and pulls this shit not 12 hours later.

This is how we will proceed. The first one to fight him will have the first chance to win, but also to die. You will vote on which one of you should fight him and at Dusk every day we will have a fight between your chosen one and Gorky.
It is reminded however that should you fail to come back here, I will let Gorky pay you a visit in your sleep.

so you think gorky and scum aren't related?

I just thought of something potentially genius.  What if, when we vote a no lynch, whoever has the role of "Gorky" has their power activated, and they can then go out and murder in the night?

You guys want to lynch Balz or TOS? I'm fine with either.

Or we can lynch you with your supposed power role since you seem to want to rid the town of assets.

Is, is that sweet sweet defensiveness I detect in your tone, please entertain me. How would you lead a lynch train against me?

Also, how am I ridding the [town] of assests?

I wasn't inferring that I would lynch you, simply making a point with the assets, and I think that point was quite obvious and need not be further explained.

@hatmoza: The fact that Hephaestos felt the need to point out it was just all flavor indicates that my questionning was not unfounded and that the text could have been interpreted the way I did.

In any case, I prefer to be grilled for bringing something that turns out to be pointless in the end than to have spotted to the same thing and kept my mouth shut only to realize I was right the next day.

why did you find it necessary to mention it then?

Was my observation of you contradicting yourself so threatening that it demanded an unnecessary target label over your head?

Hatmoza, I get the feeling of a player who is comfortably resting on a powerful role -"How would you lead a lynch train against me" gives me the impression that you're somewhat untouchable. However, I feel that Baalzamon may be hiding something, in the way that he described his relationship with the town as an "asset". Could mean nothing, but it struck me as odd.

Do you not find every member of the town as an asset?  Scum already know what side I'm on, so what I have said really means absolutely nothing to them, unless they read further into it than what is actually there.
