That is also possible but not what I had been thinking. 

I've got pretty extensive knowledge when it comes to Star Wars. I know the original trilogy inside out, the prequels I try to forget but know the characters well enough. I've also read 7-8 extended universe books.

I'm pretty confident Gorky is made up by Heph (the way the flavor is written supports that too). Also we were told all our roles appear on the picture Heph posted and I know all of these characters: no Gorky.

So I'd say we can rule out Gorky being one of us.

It just seems that whatever this Gorky is, the flavor would insinuate that he goes out to kill somebody if he is not visited, i.e. somebody is not lynched, so I'm led to believe that if there isn't a lynch, there will be an additional night kill...I think I'm confusing myself with this though

So do any of the people in the picture he posted have any people underneath them, per se, that they "control," that are similar to Gorky?

I don't know if any of this stuff means anything, it just seems worthy of discussion, as you never know what we may discover.

I think we're straying from what's important to know here which is: Will a No Lynch lead to a random kill?

But to answer your question: Jabba the Hutt comes to mind since he threw people down a pit to be eaten alive by the Rancor who was a huge beast like our friend Gorky.

We may be straying too far, yes, but on the other hand, understanding what exactly Gorky is (although it is all speculation), in my mind at least, could really help for us to determine what the flavor may mean in regards to what happens with a no lynch.

My Star Wars knowlage is non-existant, bar a bit of Lego Star Wars, but it seems to me that Gorky is just a creation made by Heph. The way that the flavour is written suggests that we are all against the Gorky, and that none of us are playing as him. One thing though - the flavour ends on a night, and the flavour character wakes up the next morning, which suggests that Gorky didn't kill anyone during the night? Maybe a no-lynch is safe after all.

So there was a challenger to Gorky yesterday which explain the fact he didn't kill anyone during the night.

I thought that the challenge occured during the day, so he might still have the chance to kill during  the night - not to mention, it seemed like a random challenge to show us the power of Gorky.
