I would suggest you control yourself and don't play Uncharted 2. Control is a good thing, play Uncharted 1 find it somehow and then proceed to Uncharted 2.

Because otherwise you wouldn't be able to feel the continuity imo. Sure they have both different stories, but the first one is a very good game on its own and the second one has slight references that you will enjoy.

The first one has two characters out of which one is a male that you must encounter. He is with you in the second one as well.

And people, stop spoiling stuff to new comers. >.>

[Co-incidentally, I just completed my crushing playthrough of Uncharted 2 :)]

nah you should play uncharted 2 now (lol), Uncharted is a character driven game, so its really doesn't matter which game you play first imo.

story wise 2 games are not related, only characters, all you need to know is Drake and Elena went on an adventure together in Uncharted 1, Elena was Drake's love interest but they went seperate ways afterwards.
