God of War III has received universal acclaim and it's a commercial success, selling 3.68 million copies in just 1 year. That is the complete opposite of a flop by anyone's standards.

Oh yeah, there's nothing better than GoWIII, and I doubt whether any dev will have the balls to try and beat it. The opening sequence itself is a landmark in gamin imo.

I would take a new IP over another GoW game myself, I'm not too fond of GoW-series and I dislike how everything has to get over 5 sequels and spinoffs these days. :/

so with the typical Sony 1st party progression from title to title i guess it willl have at least 3D and will be more cinematic than the 3rd one...so maybe 2012 release?i told you guys 2012 for PS3 will be better than 2011...there is no stopping it :D
