How is it admirable? Unless your asexual, then sex is a standard goal that you can't seem to achieve, despite it being a normal and biological thing. Most people 'want' to have sex, not getting what you want shouldn't be praised.

Theirs a clear difference between wanting and not being able to obtain and wanting but choosing to abstain.

If your a politician for example, you may want that private jet or that new Ferrari. But buying such extravegant items while your people are poor would be very selfish. But say you chose to not spend your tax money on new cars and planes and instead chose to live a lifestyle similiar to the people you serve. Isn't that admirable?

Now I said in most cases. In many cases people abstain for religious reasons. The fact that they value their morals and their religios values more then their own sexual gratification is admirable.

Agreed. I think the better question would be why do people rush to sex? Why is there so much pressure and why do so many people think its wierd if you go through your teenage years keeping your virginity?

theres nothing wrong why do people think that every one has to be having sex there is nothing bad about it.

i know a former priest and he says that sex is not a factor when he decided at 18 to become a priest nor was it some thing he said that it is something you miss
