Dude just pitched an idea that will almost surely cure many diseases.

Essentially, its a guard to prevent pathogens from entering your nose via a filtration system. Essentially, a mask but almost virtually un-noticable. He stated that his tests have proven that it will prevent any viruses/pathogens from entering the nasal cavity. Since pathogens and viruses cannot live in the mouth to cause things like colds/ect, only the nose needs guarded.

Wholesale cost on the nasal guards is $0.60 per unit, and already has 8 million confirmed sales in Saudi Arabia.

He was offered $4m to sell the company right then and there, and declined.

The craziest thing is that he tried to license it with a big pharmacutical company, which told him that it made them more money to cure the colds, therefore if they bought the patent, they would shelve it.

Its an awesome show. I watch both Dragon's Den (original Canadian version) and the Shark Tank. 

Haven't seen this episode yet but seems very interesting.

Honestly if the device worked and was hardly noticable I would buy it in a second. But I'm guessing they are disposable and I'd have to be buying them constantly? In which case I'd probably pick them up during the next pandemic and hope they work.

Would I buy one a day to prevent me from getting the common cold? No probably not. But when everyone brings out the face masks (Which rarely has ever happened in my city) then on would go the filters!
