I imported Xenogears late last year and it has become my 3rd favourite RPG of all time (behind FFVI and Chrono Trigger). It is fantastic, the story is easily among my favourites of any game I have ever played. The battle system is genius and the music, while not IMO at FF, CT or SoM levels, is wonderful. It's a very good length as well, I took just under 60 hours to finish the game and I could've done more on the sidequest side of things.
I'll never quite forgive Square for never releasing it in Europe
