Forums - Gaming - Have you ever bought a system more than once?

I still have my original PS2 and it has never given me any trouble. The only system i bought twice was the DS. My screen cracked on my original phat DS so i bought a new one the next day.

My first GameCube stopped reading discs for no reason one day, so I decided to buy another one with that Metroid Prime bundle at the time. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes' demo was amazing, that's all I have to say (and owning 2 copies of Metroid Prime also rules). =P

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Over the years I've had 3 NES (the original one belonging to the family (which died around '93), and two given to us by friends (one died, the other's still kicking)), 2 SNES (largely by accident; the first one I got was a used model from a pawn shop, and didn't work), 2 PS2 (the original stopped reading DVDs and CD games; gave it to my cousin and got a slimline), and 2 DS (got an original, then a Lite; original went to a friend across the country). Oddly enough, my PS1 has never stopped working, and it's one of the large-size models.
