Yes, gameplay. I actually said it! It might be shocking but, i'm interested in how the actual game is. KZ2 was an amazing looking game but.....the campaign felt abit generic and predictable (shooting is red explosive barrels is so 1990........ok, that's just wishful thinking). Easily my biggest disappointment of this gen. I haven't been hyped for Crysis 2 but I've sorta had my eye on it.....
Anyways, there's been a redonkulous amount of talk about the visuals, and even with the full game out, it seems that finding posts related to the campaign's gameplay is still gonna be hard.
So for those that bought it....how does it compare to, let's say......Killzone 3? Better? Worse? About the same?I say KZ3 because they've both been released pretty recently and are abit scif-fi'ish. Crysis 2 looks fun cause it seems to have a little more gadgety stuff to mess around with, but KZ3's beta was pretty cool too cause the guns in the game all feel so beastly. After playing Crysis 2's multiplayer demo though, the gunplay felt pretty awesome also.
Besides the campaign, is there some other singleplayer modes to play, like survival/etcetc? I love it when games have stuff like that (Not a CoD guy but, I used to be hooked on Zombies).
So what do you guys think.......good game?!
If possible, please leave out any talk of graphics. For serious, aside from what I've played of the demo, I barely know a damn thing about the game itself. Last thing I want is another repeat of KZ2/3, where reviewers spend almost the entire article talking about how "beautiful" the game is, as if I'm suffering from a serious eye condition.
