The water effects are NOT EVEN CLOSE. I compared them side by side yesterday. Go find some water in Uncharted 2 and shoot it. The only thing that happens is a pixelated splash. Its not even close.

By animations I mean character movement animations and ragdoll animations. UC2 has it but once again its not on the level of Crysis 2 but I guess we'll agree to disagree.

I didn't say Uncharted 2 has water effects ahead of Crysis 2, I said it has them (and Crysis 2 has pixelated reflections when moving through the water).

As for character movement, nobody in Crysis 2 moves like Drake does.

Yeah Drake moves very nicely. What about the other 1000 NPCs that move stiff as a board?

Why not be fair about NPCs, as that's one of Crysis 2's biggest drawbacks.

Nevertheless, this is a tit-for-tat at this point. We know you prefer Crysis 2, you don't have to knock other games to get that point across. It's understood.

Crysis 2's NPCs may be dumb at times, but they move and react realistically to being shot, shooting, and taking cover.

uncharted 2 animations are the best in the biz. every one moves very realistically (they do tons and tons of mocap)

animations has always been one of the weaker points about crysis

Have you played Crysis 2?

um yeah, i own it.

have you?

More Lens of Truth...

Feature: Crysis 2 Frame Rate Analysis

Conclusion: "PlayStation 3’s frame rate dips in hectic areas more often than the Xbox 360 version but the PlayStation 3 version has zero screen tearing."

So PS3 is vsynced but 360 has better frame rate.

That's probably why some sites liked the 360 version a little more in the graphics department, frame rate drops in FPSs are more noticable sometimes. I know some PC games I play with V-Sync give some lag during some really active scenes. This usually isn't much of a problem unless it's a game like Left 4 Dead where there's hundreds of zombies are running around at once.

Dang, just when I decided to get it for 360.  I'll wait for DF now and maybe a few more tech analysis.  I hate screen tear but can put up with some fps dips and from that the fps dips look acceptable on PS3 for the advantage of zero screen tearing.

Or do I stay on plan?  Decisions.

I haven't noticed any screen tear at all while playing it and I'm a little passed halfway in the campaign. It should come down to which controller you like better for shooters.

Ok well according to every other review the game looks amazing. So I'll take the word of 99 vs 1. Believe what you want.
