Damn! This is the best looking console game I've seen, PS3 or 360. I'll have to pick it up if the reviews say the gameplay lives up to it's graphics.
They should port Crysis Warhead using the Crysis 2 engine as a budget title. It would probably take them a week to port it to PS3 and 360. I always hate it when a console has a sequal but not the original. I wonder how many PS3 owners skiped Mass Effect 2 becuase they couldn't import their save from the first game? Sure it's better than not having it at all, but I'd like to have both Crysis games on console rather than just the second one.

Crysis take a week to port? Are you kidding? Metro 2033 took 19 days to port to 360 and it would've 6 months to do a decent port to the PS3 hence they didn't bother. Also Crysis is a massive open world, Crysis 2 looks less so and looks to have a more progress through the levels system like most other FPS.

Yes I was kidding. I was exaggerating. Of course it would take longer than a week to port. But as ports go it would be quick and easy. My point was just that they could use the Crysis 2 Engine to run Crysis 1 on consoles. Apparently Crysis 1's engine was not portable to current consoles, but obviously Crysis 2 runs on Xbox 360/ PS3 and looks better than Crysis 1 doing it. That should make porting the original as a budget titles a relatively easy endeavor that Crytech could even outsource to another developer while they work on Project Kingdoms.
Basically I'm saying it would be cheap, fast, and make money. All the consoles players who missed out on Crysis 1 would love to get it if they enjoyed Crysis 2. But we'll have to wait for the reviews to find out if the gameplay lives up to it's graphics.
