Look at this PS3 gameplay. Whether or not the 360 version looks better (which if it does it won't be too noticeable), this game IMO is the best looking console game. Sorry about no sound on the video but this is an amazing looking game. I'm buying the 360 version and I'm super pumped.

Watch full screen obviously

Could be the youtube quality but this video not looks impressive... and yeah I put 720p.

Damn! This is the best looking console game I've seen, PS3 or 360. I'll have to pick it up if the reviews say the gameplay lives up to it's graphics.

They should port Crysis Warhead using the Crysis 2 engine as a budget title. It would probably take them a week to port it to PS3 and 360. I always hate it when a console has a sequal but not the original. I wonder how many PS3 owners skiped Mass Effect 2 becuase they couldn't import their save from the first game? Sure it's better than not having it at all, but I'd like to have both Crysis games on console rather than just the second one.

Crysis take a week to port? Are you kidding? Metro 2033 took 19 days to port to 360 and it would've 6 months to do a decent port to the PS3 hence they didn't bother. Also Crysis is a massive open world, Crysis 2 looks less so and looks to have a more progress through the levels system like most other FPS.

Yes I was kidding. I was exaggerating. Of course it would take longer than a week to port. But as ports go it would be quick and easy. My point was just that they could use the Crysis 2 Engine to run Crysis 1 on consoles. Apparently Crysis 1's engine was not portable to current consoles, but obviously Crysis 2 runs on Xbox 360/ PS3 and looks better than Crysis 1 doing it. That should make porting the original as a budget titles a relatively easy endeavor that Crytech could even outsource to another developer while they work on Project Kingdoms.

Basically I'm saying it would be cheap, fast, and make money. All the consoles players who missed out on Crysis 1 would love to get it if they enjoyed Crysis 2. But we'll have to wait for the reviews to find out if the gameplay lives up to it's graphics.

how on gods name is ps3 dominating the vote of the pic results... this confuses me, they are almost identical

ps3 version has better lighting by the looks of it. But really, no one should care.

I wonder if the PS3 version is confirmed in 1024x720. If so, there's no way it can be the better looking of the two (although some of those screenshots suggest better textures and lighting on the PS3). The pictures look clearer on the 360 in some cases, so it may be a tie after all (though again, a sub 1280x720p resolution for PS3 would instantly mean it loses here).

CGI i dunno if you know this already but 360 version is subHD too....

Graphics Continued: Kilzone 2’s multiplayer native resolution is 1280 x 720 (QAA), while the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo’s resolution appears to be running sub HD 1152 x 720 (selective AA), which ironically is the same resolution as Halo: Reach

In fairness, that's the beta. We need a full analysis/review of the final build.

I know but wasn't the 1024x720 resolution for ps3 version came from the demo as well? i dunno.....

If the PS3 version or 360 version is "sub HD" by 5 pixels, just remember that there are PC gamers out there playing Crysis 2 in 5760x1080 or even higher. This guy for example will be gaming in 5400x1920...

http://media.bestofmicro.com/Eyefinity-5x1-HD3D,Z-9-285093-13.jpg

Thats 10 X larger resolution than 720p.

No point of calling one version inferior over the other if the resolution is 5% less...as they are both inferior :)

do my eyes decieve me? PS3 VERSION ACTUALLY LOOKS BETTER OMG!!! Now Im ready for performance analysis. Ps3 seems to only be running at a lower resolution but the AA, Lighting, and Textures are much better
