Sorry if you felt I implied that rocketpig. There was nothing there to be implied.

The first sentence of that post you quoted and bolded was pretty much the only thing I posted as a joke (due to many people knocking the PS3) and wasn't meant to be me blindly pulling a "fake" figure out of my behind. Then again, if it comes out as true I just may have to giggle to myself and pray that my 360 doesn't get the RRoD.

Hey, I told you can think of it either way you want. Putting some kind of juvenile pressure (4chan lol... you can do better than that ) won't help it  just because it seems like you can't figure out on your own. You dont need to know it anyway. Trust me its not worth the effort. Your only option is to figure it out on your own.

Pray to not get RROD? Are you joking?

If my 360 is running after 35 months and my warranty is about to go, you can bet that I'm going to put that thing in a closet next to a heater, wrapping it in an electric blanket, and playing Mass Effect for 36 hours straight. That should kill anything, much less an already unstable 360.

I'm planning to buy a 40GB PS3 but I have a doubt.

Are there other differences between the 80GB and 40GB PS3s than:

- The 40GB difference

- Motorstorm

- PS2 compatibility

I think it's been fairly well summed up for you here but the important part is that you won't be missing any performance or functionality with the 40GB besides BC and memory card slots. The 40GB also runs a bit cooler. I have a PS3 and a Wii and I play the PS3 much more often.
