I think IGN has changed. They haven't given CoD 9 last year, instead they gave it 8.5.

Killzone 3 got 8.5 too, AC Brotherhood got 8, GT 5 got 8.5(<- This is a surprise), MLB got 8, they aren't giving 9s anymore.

They did give dead space 2, 9 I think. So Uncharted 2 should end up being GOTY lol.

LBP 2 got 9, to be frank that's underrated too but its at least a 9.

It will be interesting to see what they rate 9.5 or 10 this year. My bet is on Gears of war 3/Uncharted 3/Infamous 2.

Is inFamous 2 even releasing this year?

I think whats happening is reviewers in general have become much more strict in their ratings.

Guys, relax. He is just a reviewer who gives his own opinion about a game. There is no reason to get upset because of this.

So as I said at the beginning of this thread, I'll buy it anyway and I will have my own opinion about it.

@hikaruchan  you could tell me how big the mandatory install is to play the game. I played the Japanese verison of 3 some time ago. It was alright, i didnt find it spectacular, but it wasnt bad. I didnt get it because i was actually going to wait for this game. if 4 is just like 3 with some improvements. then thats all good. I might just wait awhile to get it.

@mantelpickle  they also gave Goldeneye a 9 which imo is too high. and b4 anyone says, "oh just cause its on Wii it shouldnt get a nine" no its because the online is sometimes buggy, there is some slowdonw in campaign and there is no voice chat. A FPS in 2010/11 with no voice chat is inexcusable. You cant even blame the Wii for that. Even SOcom for PSP had voice chat, that was years ago.  

No, they're just saving up points for whatever Rockstar shits out next
