You may have trouble paying attention to the story, though, given Crysis 2's constant sensory assault. This is the best-looking console game to date.

God the console version looks SD compared to the PC, i can take the fact that the PC is better but seeing how blurry the gun is on the console almost hurts to look at

PC easily looks better than the console..especially the textures and lighting. But it doesn't look THAT big of a leap imho.

no they aren't, you can clearly see that the PC visuals are easily 10 times that of the 360's. But thats also because gaming PCs are stronger then 360s.


Not even close to 10 times thats ridiculous exaggeration. The differences are minimal actually. The PC has higher res textures and higher resolution but the poly count is similar. I'm actually not impressed with Crysis 2 on the PC. Crysis 1 looked better.

The PC Version is VASTLY superior. Just goes to show you, even though it's a port that PC's are just unbeatable. Resolution, textures, lighting, heck even controls are all leaps and bounds above the 360.

Yeah, I saw that vid but it's hard to see if the PS3 version is equal to the X360 version, especially when there is no side-by-side comparison. The PS3 version surely looks good so far, but how it will look in the end compared to the 360 version is another question. We'll see in a few weeks anyway.

PC looks a lot better. 360 version looks like a console game, it doesn't feel like something spectacular, whereas the PC version blows everything I have seen to look good out of the water.

And this is just DX9. There is going to be Direct X 11 patched in so its going to look a lot better than this.

Oh man,  now I am contemplating cancelling my PC Preorder and just skipping until its gets cheap.  I knew that going to the city environments and moving to the consoles would greatly reduce its quality.

Al least it will give me more time to play Minecraft
