Forums - Microsoft - Gears 3 Can Lure Call Of Duty players, Says MS

Launch it on the same day as CoD and see what happens.

Did they postpone gears to wait for the average cod player to be bored enough of blops but too impatient to wait another month for the next cod? Or to give Bulletstorm a chance. Just launch it already.

Comprehension people.... where does he say it will harm COD sales?

He is merely saying it can attract that audience to buy Gears also...

Well, nowhere. But when a company says that their game can lure CoD players you could also think about the possibility that it could harm CoD's sales. This isn't a comprehension problem

Yes it is.  He would have said taken sales if they meant to insinuate harming the sales. The guys at Epic are very blunt when they speak.

@bolded  Just because you could doesn't you should.

Uh... man, there is nothing wrong with thinking about this although he didn't say it. Hell, I didn't claim that he means this or that Epic intends to harm CoD sales, not at all. I said there is a possibility that it could harm CoD's sales, nothing more. This was just a thought which came to my mind. So no, it isn't a comprehension problem, at least not for me. I'm aware that he didn't mention this anywhere.

Your last sentence is just unnecessary because you could (yes... 'could') say this about everything...
