Seriosuly though, what's the big deal with these sex tapes? Everyone has sex, even Martin Luther King. If anything, this makes me have sympathy for the people filmed against their will.

Take USA for example.

A sextape will take your celebrity career to new height while it will end your political career faster than you can finish your breakfast.

Example I can quickly think of are Paris Hilton and Bill Clinton.

Yeah, but still, almost all people have sex, even politicians. And it's not as if these people filmed themselves and linked it on the net. I don't understand why this would ruin someone's political career.

BTW, Clinton didn't have a sex tape, just a scandal involving his secretary, and he did manage to pull through though. In his case it was also about cheating, as he was (and still is) married, BUT I personally viewed it as something that's between him and his wife. It really wasn't anyone else's business.

I remember last year a situation where the Communist authorities from Moldova plated a camera in a Romanian diplomat's room and filmed him having a 3some with 2 women. The guy wasn't even married or anything, so it was not even a situation of adultery, yet he was forced to resign. It's sad when people can't think rationally.

That's why it's bizaar. Everyone does it. But as soon as people start making a big deal out of it, you're ruined. It's probably a religious thing.
