the size is just over double, UMD is 900mb(Single layer), 1.8gb (dual layer). The 2gb/4gb limits are probably in place so that games don't get too large for digital distribution. Also its more then 3DS games which are currently limited to 1gb ( though if needed Nintendo can produce larger game cards).

I think 3DS games are limited to 2gb at launch.



@NYANKS  gotta be some crazy people out there, i mean even if it was as powerful as the PS3 no way would that be affordable or even have anywhere near decent battery life
