Forums - General - Poor owl got hit by a ball then kicked out the court by a soccer player!

i have more regard for this owl than the "human" being that went out of his way to go kick it.

One thing is it being wrong (which is arguable) and another completely different to take him to court for that, which is retarded

No. Laws are supposed to protect life among other things. This owl had every right to the protection of laws governed by a civilized society as any human. He deserves hefty punishment to ensure others don't do the same. Does he deserve jail time, etc? no, you wouldn't even get that for kicking a person. But, good set of fines should pushed out.

Just because we are on top of the food chain it does not mean we have the right to blatantly attack and terrorize all "lower" life forms.

No, it shouldn't, because it isn't part of such society. It's just...an owl. It's quite different to any human, which are part of the society

"blatantly attack and terrorize all "lower" life forms."

Quite an exaggeration there, isn't it? He just kicked it aside, you make it sound as if the guy is a serial owl-killer

You simply amaze me in your inability to use the quote button and how much you minimalize his actions. I sincerely hope you don't own pets.

the owl is dead.

Wow, that was a dick move by that guy. Its not even like the bird looked dead, it was clearly still alive.

I also really hope Zexen doesn't own pets if he thinks it's perfectly ok just to kick animals. Animal cruelty is considered wrong for a reason, any animal which is capable of feeling pain deserves protection.

Yeah we should be happy about that if you were that owl. Notsorry2say.

I own a cat, thank you. Technically it's not mine, it's my family's but yeah, he lives in our house. And I don't quote 'cause if I did it'd inevitably end in a quote pyramid which is impossible and painful to read
