Won't be much longer until it's legal in the US. I don't know which republican candidates are pro-legalization besides Ron Paul though, and I'm pretty sure Obama is anti-drug. But with the deficit spiralling out of control, the US will have no choice but to end the war on drugs and start legalizing/taxing marijuana.

I smoke on occasion but haven't done it in probably 3 months or so. My main methods are a joint or glass pipe. I've only used a bong once, and I used to use homemade parachutes/lungs a fair bit. My favourite is probably just a joint. I really want to try it with a vaporizer at some point though! I know nothing about strains and shit like that since I'm a noob.

I seriously hate when people say marijuana is the safest drug on the planet. Taking an Advil or drinking a can of Coke and then driving? No problem. Smoking a bowl then going driving? You may be fine, but you are impaired and more at risk to injure yourself and/or others. And of course smoking anything is bad on your lungs and can cause cancer. There are negative effects of marijuana! Just like anything, it has to be used in moderation, and nobody should drive or operate machinery after smoking. 

Side not: I'm for it's legalization and do it myself on occastion, but I don't claim its some perfectly safe drug that has never done harm to anyone. 

Find me a case where someone crashed while "impaired" on caffein from a cup of coffee...oh wait...you can't. 

I can probably find you plenty of cases where people's hearts failed due to taking too much caffeine (hell I even had irregular heart beats from too much caffeine before and it isn't too fun).  What I meant by safest was mainly just by use, not by going out and preforming various activities that might put you in more danger.  I am simply talking about siting back on a couch and taking a drug.  You can die from an overdose on Advil and over the counter meds.  You can die from overdose about anything except marijuana.  Hmm I wonder why that is??  Maybe because it is a natural plant that has coexisted with humans since the dawn of civilization.  There are people that have allergic reactions to weed but there is zero cases of overdose death.  If there was the anti fun police would definitely smear it in our faces. 

No argument here then! Sorry for the misunderstanding. I hear people say all the time "weed doesn't affect your driving, I can drive perfectly fine while high" and that may be true but it isn't true for everyone. 

And yeah I'm totally for weed being legalized, both for economic reasons and social reasons (it isn't the government's job to tell us what we can and cannot consume).
