I don't know - if i were buying 3DS (which i'm not doing) I'd give a shot for Splinter Cell Shadow wars- noone seems to care about it but it's actually made by guy who did X-com series years ago.

Honestly I would say wait on both of them. Both handhelds have shit launch titles. They are also over priced. Just toss your money in the bank and wait for the first line of price cuts. It will take some time but by then there should be sufficient games too chose from, and for cheaper.

thats also a concern to me. is a 3ds worth buying for $250? Better off buying an ipad 2?

NGP isn't coming out till next year in USA so you probably should just get the 3DS now. Also, with all the Nintendo IPs coming out on 3DS it is a must buy.  Get it for your birthday!  Too bad it seems like June 2nd is the date that a lot of awesome Nintendo IPs will be released for it.  Don't even think about getting the ipad 2 over the 3DS.....

Don't forget about Mario Kart.  I am sure the 3D will probably make it pretty cool (Mario Kart is always bad ass anyways).  Hopefully there won't be any way to snake this time.  I never got the hang of that (never wanted to either) and it made playing against people that did it online lame.  However, it was fun as hell on DS if everyone didn't snake.
