I was going to say 200k before the pack-in but maybe if this is marketed well enough as a pack in.... 250k is possible.

Metal gear solid 4 ps3 bundle isnt so out of the question. Perhaps that games (and dmc4) will move a decent amount of hardware, well at least in japan.

 That seems excessive, doesn't it? DMC3 sold less than 200k its opening week on an install base that was nearly 12x as big. 

I think it will do well (in part because of this bundle, as you said), and I certainly don't think the attach rate will scale lineary with install base, but still... that would be one heck of a turnaround :p

I expect lifetime sales on the PS3 to be 250-300k.  

I don't know if it can boost it that much. The DMC series has not done well of late but it is the first big title for the PS3 in Japan since HSG5.

Who knows it could be what Onimusha was to the PS2.
