North American Starleague

EG's Incontrol has just announced possibly the world's biggest esports league ever created. $400,000 prize pool; matches broadcast live daily and all of the top foreign Starcraft II players are going to compete. It appears EGIdra even gave up his spot in the GSL Code S (a mere $170,000 Korean tournament) for it.

Matches will be broadcast for free, with a premium option for VODs and a high quality stream.

Also, any word on any other players dropping GSl for it?

No, though I think if any of Huk/Haypro/Ret/Moonglade don't make it past the Ro16 in Code A they might leave and come back. Because of the cost and distance, I don't think we'll see many Koreans. It's OK though because the TSL3 invites from Korea are insane (MC, MVP, Nada, Loner, Genius, Tester, Boxer, Nestea, Fruitdealer).
