No, gun manufacturers know people will murder with their guns.  There are more then enough murderers to go around.

Heck, gun manufcaturers specifically sell certain kinds of rifles knowing they will be turned into illega fully automatic rifles, and specifically construct them so they are easy to mod into automatics even though they could just as eaisly make it impossible to mod into it.

Then they let people sell "Mod kits" to mod them into assault rifles.  That give you all the tools and instructions to do it.

And that shit isn't illegal... and that's a product made SPECIFICALLY to do something illegal with no intent other then the illegal thing.

Some people hand out hammers to fix things.  Some people hand out hammers to hurt others.  Some people mod consoles to do things they want at no expense to others.  Some people mod consoles to cheat and make the gaming experience worst for everyone else.  And it's about the intent, not the action.  So, no.  My analogy is NOT broken.  But when someone such as yourself cannot successfully argue the point at hand (geohot being in the wrong), a common tactic is to divert attention from the real point such as focusing on an analogy (which is what you are attempting to do.)  So focus on this:

"The truth that has been pointed out over and over again which has been denied by everyone unreasonable is that we all know that what geohot released WILL be abused.  AND he PROVED his malicious intent by the release and content of that rap video.  Keep lying to yourself.  You guys aren't gamers."

You cannot deny that Geohot released sensitive info.

You cannot deny that it will be abused.

You cannot deny that Geohot proved his malicious intent from the rapping video he released.

Geohot is in the wrong.  Stop lying to yourself, and start promoting gaming.
