Idk how long this deal has been available on Amazon.com, but I just saw it and was pretty surprised. You can get a PS3 160gb standalone for$299 (well, actually $280 currently), OR get this Amazon deal and get the same PS3 (160gb) PLUS a $60 AAA game in KZ3 for the same price, $299. Hmmm...which would I pick if I were looking to buy a ps3? Like I said, was kind of surprised by this great deal. Anyways, just wanted to post this in case anyone was looking to get a ps3 or was on the fence about getting a ps3 (especially someone looking to get a ps3 for KZ3).

Btw...if you already have a ps3, Amazon's also giving $20 store credit for preordering KZ3.

its like that everywhere i believe, sony released that bundle Gamestop Bestbuy all seem to be showing it for 299 with KZ3, suprised also i think the last official sony bundle in US was the Uncharted PAIN 160gb one way back in 08 for 499 i believe they only had 3 bundles in US total, that one the MGS4 60gb and 80gb and the motorstom 80gb one

I think it was bundled before, the bundling just got new shipment on the release of GT5. Pretty much 360 along with codes for Forza 3 and Alan Wake DD.

Yeah, agreed. This bundle actually makes me wonder if Sony's gonna drop the ps3 price soon? Maybe not though haha, maybe they're just feeling generous (i.e. want to get KZ3 into as many people's hands as possible). Interestingly though, idt many people realize this deal exists. This bundle is only at around the #90 spot on Amazon's top 100 selling video game items. The ps3 160gb $299 standalone is at like # 16 or 17. That's a huge difference. Who in their right mind, if they knew about the deal, would choose the standalone over the bundle? Whether you love KZ3, are neutral toward it, or even absolutely loathe it - it's still a free game worth $60.

yeah...Sony see what Xbox do to them in America...so this is the first move to fight against that...a 299$ bundle with Killzone 3 which is America-terrortery...and after that maybe really a 249$ PS3 when Socom 4 drops...again a game who is there to atrract the american market...and a 249$ would sell awesome the next few months with games like Motorstorm 3,Infamous 2 and Twisted Metal coming...and them imagine the highlight of it in the end of the year...a 249$ Uncharted 3 bundle and than Ching!...the dark Sith-Lord swang his lightsaber...this would be IMO the best chess move in the America-console-war...

I've been meaning to pick up a PS3 soon. This just tipped me over the edge. Good stuff!
