simple question, which game do you think will get the higher metacritic rating

my prediction is

Uncharted 3- 96

Gears of War 3- 93

edit: post your predictions of each game

edit: okay people stop complaining about the pictures, thats not the point of this thread. anyway a found what i thought was a good pic. Now they are both similar with the plant life and all, and know they are both gameplay (i think i cant see HUD on gears, but it looks ingame)

While I think UN3 with score better, that picture of GeOW3 isn't great, could have got something better.

i will change it, i wanted a picture with one of the girls, and that was the first that came up (when i googled gears of war 3 girls)

edit: theres the same picture, but of higher quality

Too many unknowns.  One thing's for sure, GeoW3 looks like shit compared to Uncharted 3 based on the pics in the OP.

It'll come down to a few things:  Will critics become harder to please buy Uncharted's groundbreaking graphics?  Will they finally grow tired of Uncharted's formulaic storylines and Drake's wisecracks?  Will GeoW3 offer new and innovative multiplayer modes like Horde Mode or has Epic run out of ideas?  Will GeoW3 and Uncharted break new ground or will they be more of the same?  Will reviewers prefer Uncharted's physics and realistic world or Gears' fantastic and over the top world?  Will the games be reviewed fairly by reviewers with no agenda (like giving one game a low score to garner site hits or giving another game a high score because they like one brand more than another).

Like I said, too many unknowns.  All I know is that I'm buying 'em both and the holiday season can't come fast enough.  Oh, and Mass Effect 3 is gonna be better than both of them.  ;)

argh... i already changed the pic, if any one wants a different pic of a gears of war girls, just show me it, and ill be glad to replace it with it.

a picture of in game gameplay would be preferable, since Uncharted 3 is gameplay, but the picture i have of gears is from a trailer footage

when i googled gears of war 3 girls this was like the 4th picture that showed up, one of the ones before was lower quality but same pic, and the others were not real pictures of gears (one was gears mixed with resistance, another was a picture of a real girl wearing gears clothing

also no doubt both will be awesome. but post your prediction, make a guess.

Uncharted will score better.  Gears will sell better.  Both will be fantastic games.

I think Uncharted 3 will score higher of the two but don't think it will hit Uncharted 2 levels. I mean just looking at Halo Reach and Killzone 3 (and LBP 2), those games are far beyond their predecessors, but all scored lower than their earlier entries. I think I'm right in saying that most people on this site would agree these 3 games are better than their predecessors from what they've seen/played. I believe Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 will live the same fate, and U3 to a greater extent as it has a much higher pedestal from which to fall. However, I think Resistance 3 will score on par, if not a tad higher than Resistance 2.
