Surely the burden of proof is on you to prove it's true?  Bullshit rumours on the internet are not proof of anything.

take your playstation 3 and hook it up, log onto you psn account, then (and this is very important) just sit and wait for one of these assholes to ban you. WAIT!!! before you go, the most important part is......you have to hold your breath until they do it. Once they ban you you can breath again.

do that OR play your wii some more, I've heard SMG2 is a really good game...

and I can say with confidence there's no way these dickwads can long on Sonys main PSN servers as adminsitrators to unban themselves or anybody else

so can we let this die before it becomes filled with a bunch of obvious fanboys (who either don't own or don't touch a ps3) spewing a buch of bullshit pretending as if they give a fuck. Seriously it's getting really pathetic to those of us who actually do.


And three months ago people said it was impossible for the PS3 to be hacked.

Yea a while back, I got into a fight with someone that ps3 would be pirated. I wish I could remember who that was. So I could stick a good jab in there.

People, calm down. Hackers can't get into PSN servers as administrators, they can spoof their PS3 hardware id with whatever they want, making PSN servers believe the console is another one than the banned.

If they make PSN servers believe their console is yours one (with yours hardware id), Sony could ban a console that isn't pirated, yours, because another one is connected to their servers with a hacked firmware.

It's always so funny to read comments from people who despise Sony so much they actually find glee in the fact that people may be harming the gaming experiences of other gamers.  Actually, that's not funny.  It's rather pathetic, on second thought.
