You really don't understand, do you?
I know what you say totally makes sense but what do you think gets you more sales?
1- listing the game at $10, attracting the attention of every news and gaming blog?
2- listing the game at $4 $1.74 and hiding the $6 shipping cost as well as possible, attracting the attention of every news and gaming blog?
Both of those, pretty much the same but the key difference is it's a lot easier to entine people with a $4 $1.74 game than a $10 game. You end up spending the exact same either way, it's just that mental perception that makes the difference in the same way that the different between $299 and $300 seems like a lot.

Wrong. I understand perfectly, I'm just not as easily fooled by it I guess.

So what do you think I'm fooled on?

I didn't mean you. I mean the way it appears to be a better deal to some like you said, when in reality they are paying the same price and they'd be better off not having to wait fot the code to arrive in the mail. Thats just odd to me that they'd do it that way. Why ship a code? One of the big advantages to downloading the game is that you don't have to wait for it to ship and you have access to it right away. That's why I responded when you thought I didn't understand. My lashing out was only directed at that other guy who's not worth responding to lol. Good bye and have a nice day :)
