I tried the link but it doesn't work. I do have the magazine in front of me so you need to trust me that Bioshock was chosen as the Game of the Year.

GameInformer lists 50 great games of 2007.

Here are the highlights:

Well I'm not surprise Bioshock received another GOTY reward. It deserves it...clearly no game out this year (2007) could stop it other than Halo 3.

Great year for nintendo, but games wise, Xbox360 clearly had the best games.

I think its 120, but I could be wrong. Bioshock is not overrated, just because it isn't your cup o' tea Avinash, doesn't mean it isn't deserving of every GOTY it gets, and every 90+ score it has on its gameranking. Let's try being a little more open-minded towards anything that doesn't have the Nintendo name on it, shall we?

Really your statement was way overrated...

Personally, I never played the game before because I don't own a Xbox 360. But you can rest assure that its a solid game. Reviews are spot on and I hear alot about this game at work and at college.

You see how ridiculous this kind of statement sounds?  (NOTE: I love both Galaxy and Bioshock)

 Bioshock was an absolutely fantastic experience, aurally, graphically, storywise, immersion-wise, and gameplay-wise.  Biggest plot twist since Kotor, most interesting setting in any game, ever, unsettling atmosphere, fun-to-use plasmids, tightly-honed gunplay, and of course, the Big Daddies, make this one of the best games ever made.
