Forums - Sony - Final Fantasy I and II hitting PSN

Square Enix has announced it’s bringing Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II to PSN beginning this month.

It’ll release Final Fantasy next week, February 16, for €9.99. Final Fantasy II will launch on March 2 for the same price.

Square also confirmed that if you buy Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy and The 3rd Birthday on PSP, you’ll also get a coupon to buy both games at half-price.

The news comes from the publisher’s French Facebook page.

Hopefully this also means that Square Enix will bring Final Fantasy IV to PSN when it releases. In fact, I hope they warm up to the idea of putting their entire catalogue of PSP games on PSN.

Yay, they're finally dipping into the back catalogue.  Hopefully we'll see Crisis Core up there soon as well.

And I don't get why people doubted Square Enix's support of PSN.  The only title they've recently released that wasn't on PSN was Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, which was a decision apparently made by Disney.

They weren't there already? :S They're on everything else...

Cool but they couldve released 1,2,4,5 and 6 PS1 versions years ago...

The PSP versions are better but still.
