if your hoping that PS3 will overtake the 360, this isn't particularly good info.

and 360 will be less then a million behind PSP in North America by the end of the year.

Yes I did notice it the ps3 is coming fast and really starting to take back some of the marcket share they lost at launch

A bunch of the PS3 fans were looking forward to this "milestone" last week. I'm not sure why. It hardly seems like an achievement for a console released 57 weeks ago to reach half the sales of a console released 107 weeks ago.

If only Sony could find a way to transport all of the PS3 owners back in time 50 weeks then maybe they could eke out second place.

yeah, some people were paying attention to the sales jumps, there was even a thread predicting when it would happen.
