Forums - Microsoft - IE9 RC released

But... but... WHY?!
Note: I have all 4 major browsers on my machine (Opera, Firefox, Chrome, IE... no Safari) and I switch between them a lot. I was all Firefox a year ago and for the summer and most of the fall I was all Chrome. Right now I'm all Opera. I get really bored with my machine and looking at the same software for extended periods of time so I tend to rotate between competitors. I also keep switching between Thunderbird, Evolution and Outlook as well as Pidgin, Digsby and Adium, although to a lesser extent. Same goes for music (Winamp, AIMP, foobar, MediaSource, MediaMonkey), movie (VLC, WMP, GOM), and anti-virus programs (Avast, Avira, AVG... if I ever make an anti-virus software, remind me to name it with an 'A' word).

Since you didn't list iTunes for music i will un-disown you, but you are on probation! Also <3 Pidgin

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

I agree with you definately the best experience for this particular site but not for all as somebody mentioned earlier this is for people with Vista upwards only.

Now I have to wonder are the problems using the Forums IE related or poor coding? For example with IE9 RC I still have to hit return before clicking on the reply and I cannot always right click open in new tab but this is inconsistent. I also cannot use the quote or edit functions. All these ARE available in Chrome and tbh is the only reason I go to chrome.

I too was getting pretty fed up with some of the issues with the Beta fortunately I have been unable to replicate other than the issue with the forums any of my old Beta issues.

IE9 is finally decent. I just had issues with the tabbing set up in the betas. There was too little space for open tabs, and I tend to have 20-30 open at a time.

Overall a great improvement from MS but I think I'm going to stick with Opera.

Same, Opera is just too good.
